About Sarah Ivie Adidi
Sarah Ivie Adidi is a development economist, public policy professional, and youth advocate committed to practical, people-focused leadership.
Born in Lagos and shaped by both Nigerian and global experience, Sarah has spent over a decade working at the intersection of data, policy, and development. She currently works at an international development agency, where her work focuses on evidence-based decision-making and development outcomes across African countries.
Interests
Her interest in public service is rooted in a simple belief: leadership should improve everyday life, not serve personal interests. Over the years, she has worked closely with young people, institutions, and policy actors who are trying to bridge the gap between governance and real opportunity.
In Nigeria, Sarah serves as Director of Technical Services at the Youth in Parliament Forum (YIPF), where she helps design programs that prepare young Nigerians for civic participation and modern work. Through initiatives like the Take Action Campaign and Spark Bootcamp, she has supported youth engagement, digital skills training, and civic awareness ahead of the 2027 elections.
Beyond formal roles, Sarah mentors students and young professionals across Africa, particularly in areas of innovation, health, and public policy. Her work consistently centres on inclusion, fairness, and accountability.
Sarah is running to represent the AMAC/Bwari constituency in the House of Representatives because she believes effective representation starts with listening, fairness, and clear priorities. Her goal is to bring competence, integrity, and people-first thinking into public office—focused on issues that affect women, young people, and everyday residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
Here is what people have to say...
Sarah brings structure and seriousness to everything she does. I’ve seen her work directly with young people, not just talk about them. She listens, she prepares, and she follows through. That kind of leadership is rare and badly needed.
Youth Program Coordinator
Abuja
What stands out about Sarah is her ability to connect policy to real people. She understands systems, but she never loses sight of how decisions affect everyday lives. That balance is exactly what good representation requires.
Development Professional
Sarah leads with integrity. She doesn’t grandstand or make empty promises. She asks questions, listens carefully, and works with people across differences. I trust her to represent everyone fairly.
